Simply select your location and discover our exhibition on a variety of tours aimed at different target groups or find out about Munich’s Nazi past in the city.

The 40-minute tour guides you to the most important points in the exhibition, narrated in easy-to-understand language by young people and the voices of contemporary witnesses.

Munich and National Socialism

The tour provides an overview of the history of National Socialism in Munich from different perspectives. You will hear the voices of contemporary witnesses and see photos and film footage from the archives.

Unmasking Nazi Propaganda

Images were important propaganda instruments for the Nazis. On the tour we uncover the stories behind the images and learn to view photographs critically.

What does this have to do with me?

In this tour young people over the age of 14 will learn what one should know about National Socialism and think about what history has to do with everyone of us.

Ernst tells how he survived

In this tour for families with children over 10 Amelie and Benedikt will introduce you to the story of Ernst Grube who lived in Munich under the Nazis and was persecuted as a Jewish child.

This tour will give an overview about the exhibition and the history of National Socialism in International Sign Language.

Our app guides you to 118 places in Munich and environs that have a direct connection with the city’s Nazi history. The starting point for our app is the all-pervasive impact that National Socialism had in Munich. Using texts, historical visual and source material, biographies, and audio and video sequences, it provides a variety of background information about the events, functions, and people associated with particular buildings and locations and how these places have changed in the course of history.
