CafeBar Max

The inclusive Café in the foyer of the Munich Documentation Center

About the café

Come and enjoy freshly prepared snacks, a varied lunch menu, aromatic coffee, delicious sandwiches and salads, homemade iced tea, and a large selection of cakes.

The café also has a small shop where you can purchase and browse the Documentation Center’s publications. Located in the middle of Munich’s art district, the café and shop are an ideal place to take a break between visits to museums and galleries and have a chat about art, history, the present, and remembrance over a coffee and a snack.

As an inclusive business that employs people with and without disabilities, CafeBar Max stands for quality, diversity, and openness.  It is operated by the well-known catering service BalanDeli, which has been preparing creative dishes and fostering an inclusive culture for many years.  The café also accepts Klima-Taler as payment.
